10 Good Things on a Monday!

10 Good Things on a Monday is a weekly meme I am doing dedicated to every person's compulsive list-writing.  Every Monday we are going to make a list of 10 things that will cheer us up and help us tide over the whole week.

Here's how it works:

  1. Think of a particular group of good things you want to make a list on, does not necessarily have to be about books, e.g. your current book wish list, or your favorite book foods (you know, foods you love to eat while reading, if you're like me), or your favorite girly names, whatever you can think of, as long as it makes you feel good.
  2. If you have no ideas for a list, you can always visit my blog post to check out my theme for that week and you can take a cue from my list.
  3. Post your list on your blog, grab that cute ARGH button above and put it on your post too, so we'd know you're doing this meme.
  4. Leave the link for your post on my own 10 Good Things post for the week, if you see others doing it, comment too and let's share our good things with everybody.
  5. Everybody goes through the whole week happy!

My 10 Good Things for this weekMovies to watch out for in 2011

You may not know this, but I am also sort of a movie freak.  When I'm not reading, I enjoy a great film either by myself or with my family.  So when the New Year came in, I was pretty excited with what's in store for the movies.  And today, I will list 10 of them I can't wait to watch:
  1. Frankie and Alice - A drama centered on a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles not give in to her racist alter-personality.  Opens February 4, 2011.
  2. The Roommate - A psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate.  Opens February 4, 2011.
  3. I Am Number Four -  We all know about this from its book!  I was really curious about this and when I learned it's made into a movie, I decided to watch.  Opens February 18, 2011.
  4. Beastly - Another film from a book.  I've been wanting to watch this ever since it was optioned to a movie.  i read the book and I wanted to see if it would prove a great film as well.  Opens March 18, 2011.
  5. Something Borrowed - A chick flick!  Opens May 6, 2011.
  6. Kung Fu Panda 2 - Because I love drawing, I automatically love film animations, and I totally loved the first Kung Fu Panda film so I'm coming back for more.  Opens May 27, 2011.
  7. Cars 2 - Again, with the animation.  Plus, I loved Mater and it seems more focus is given to him in this sequel.  Opens June 24, 2011.
  8. Johnny English Reborn - Rowan Atkinson is one of my favorite comedians and I watched every Mr. Bean episode - just looking at him makes me laugh!  Opens September 16, 2011.
  9. Happy Feet 2 - Mumble and his friends are back!  And I'm gonna watch :D  Opens November 18, 2011.
  10. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - I've been curious about the book version and I almost bought the boxed set of the full series.  Even The Boyfriend offered to buy it for me but I was having second thoughts.  Then this movie version was announced and I said I'd rather watch than read this one.  Opens December 21, 2011.
So there you have it, my 10 Good Things on this beautiful Monday!

  4. I'm really looking forward to Beastly and I am Number Four. I've only read Beastly, but I think I just might like the movie even more than the book.

I just have to tell you, ARGH feeds on awesomeness, so if you can, drop him some awesome here, and I promise to give some awesome back :D

Right now, because of my really busy schedule, I'm cutting back on receiving awards. So until further notice, me and ARGH would not be accepting awards. But thank you for thinking of us, we really appreciate it!
