Bloggy Friends, Followers, Favorite Authors, and Readers:

It may be past V-Day now here in the Philippines, but it's still V-Day in other countries.  We just want to let you know we love you all and we're looking forward to spreading and gaining more awesomeness.  And some meatballs for ARGH, too.

10 Good Things on a Monday: Ten Beatles Songs Perfect for Valentine's Day

10 Good Things on a Monday is a weekly feature  I am doing dedicated to every person's compulsive list-writing.  Every Monday we are going to make a list of 10 things that will cheer us up and help tide us over the whole week.

Here's how it works:
  1. Think of a particular group of good things you want to make a list on, does not necessarily have to be about books, e.g. your current book wish list, or your favorite book foods (you know, foods you love to eat while reading, if you're like me), or your favorite girly names, whatever you can think of, as long as it makes you feel good.
  2. If you have no ideas for a list, you can always visit my blog post to check out my theme for that week and you can take a cue from my list.
  3. Post your list on your blog, grab that cute ARGH button above and put it on your post too, so we'd know you're doing this meme.
  4. Leave the link for your post on my own 10 Good Things post for the week, if you see others doing it, comment too and let's share our good things with everybody.
  5. Everybody goes through the whole week happy!

My 10 Good Things for this week:  Ten Beatles Songs Perfect for Valentine's Day
It's Valentine's Day!  Do you have a date?  Are you single?  Whether you're going out with the love of your life, having a date with a person you like, celebrating with your other single friends or whatever, you can't help but find yourself in the world of mushy love messages, chocolates, flowers, hearts, and the color red.  And what great music to celebrate love but the music from The Beatles right?
  1. I Wanna Hold Your Hand
  2. She Loves You
  3. And I Love Her
  4. When I Saw You Standing There
  5. Don't Let Me Down
  6. Michelle
  7. If I Fell
  8. This Boy
  9. I've Just Seen A Face
  10. All You Need is Love
Those are songs that really make me think of love and Valentine's Day and romance.  How about you?  Why not share your favorite Beatles love song?  Better yet, share your Good Things.

Happy Monday and Valentine's Day!

Not Doing Anything on Valentine's Day? Why Not Try Doing This for Fun? NO CHEATING!

It's that time of the year when the color of the day is red, paper hearts abound the streets, and candy, chocolates, and flowers are sold at double their ordinary price.  Lovers are blushing and laughing amongst themselves and single people everywhere try to ignore the fact that they are dateless and alone.

As for us readers and bloggers, we have a great excuse not to get caught up in all the hype.  We have our books and blogs to tend to.  But sometimes, it does get a little boring.  So why don't you join me in doing a different activity?  No, not smashing a heart-shaped piƱata, just answering a short quiz that will surely put your brain to work.

However, if you already know the answers to the questions below, you could still do it, or just go to the comments section and comment away with your Valentine's Day message to your most favorite book.  I will do the first comment so you could have an example.

The answers to the questions below would be posted on Thursday, and I promise you would laugh your head off when they're revealed.  But please, so we don't spoil the fun, NO CHEATING!

I would have liked to make this a giveaway but right now I'm stocking on giveaway prizes that I would be doing sometime this year.  I promise you it's going to be epic, so please just bear with me for this giveaway-less activity.

Ready to test your brain and have a good laugh?  Let's go!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!
