10 Good Things on a Monday! Ten Places I Want To Visit Before I Die

10 Good Things on a Monday is a weekly feature  I am doing dedicated to every person's compulsive list-writing.  Every Monday we are going to make a list of 10 things that will cheer us up and help tide us over the whole week.

Here's how it works:
  1. Think of a particular group of good things you want to make a list on, does not necessarily have to be about books, e.g. your current book wish list, or your favorite book foods (you know, foods you love to eat while reading, if you're like me), or your favorite girly names, whatever you can think of, as long as it makes you feel good.
  2. If you have no ideas for a list, you can always visit my blog post to check out my theme for that week and you can take a cue from my list.
  3. Post your list on your blog, grab that cute ARGH button above and put it on your post too, so we'd know you're doing this meme.
  4. Leave the link for your post on my own 10 Good Things post for the week, if you see others doing it, comment too and let's share our good things with everybody.
  5. Everybody goes through the whole week happy!

My 10 Good Things for this weekTen Places I Want To Visit Before I Die

There are literally hundreds of places to visit around the world and the average life span of a human being (75 years) is not even enough to travel to all those places each year.  So, I thought that listing my top ten places to visit before I leave the world for good would be a good start to accomplish my goal of traveling outside my own country.

  1. New York - to visit the Strand bookstore where Dash and Lily's story began.
  2. Paris - who does not want to go to Paris at some point?
  3. Thailand - I am crazy about Thai food!
  4. Bahamas - because I love the beach.  We've got a lot of beaches here in the Philippines but I would also love to go to a beach with a different culture and new things to do and learn.
  5. Las Vegas - I'm usually a very reserved and mellow person and I would love to get to the wilder side of things :D
  6. Japan - for the pure and simple reason that I would like to be there for the Cherry Blossom Viewing... And because I love sushi!
  7. Egypt - to see the pyramids duh.
  8. Bruges
  9. New Zealand - especially those places where The Lord of the Rings movies were shot.
  10. Colorado - for the snow.   But any other place with great snow will do too.  Just not Antarctica.

So that's it for this week.  Tell me about your good things!

  5. ooohh. When I was a kid I used to watch JAPAN VIDEO TOPICS on local channel. I can't remember what channel, I think it's IBC 13. The culture, the places and the people looks very interesting. I especially like the way they leave their shoes before entering the house. I'm a bit of a neat freak so it's very important for me to have a clean house. Lol. I don't know... I just love everything about Japan!

  7. What a great list! I can definitely recommend NZ (although I may be biased as that's where I'm from!) - but when you get there... make sure you have goody goody gum drop ice cream - it's the best! I always write up a little booklet for friends visiting of some weird and wonderful Kiwi things to eat, see, do and drink and ice cream is always top!

  13. @Pertz: Japan is definitely awesome! That's why it's really sad that an earthquake and a tsunami went their way. But you got to admire the government and the people, they're still so orderly, polite, and efficient!

Khadija: Great list too! And actually I wanted to list Morocco too, but I could probably put it on my 11th :D

Anna: Paris rocks! I think that would be the first place I would go to when I get the chance :D

Small Review: Will now file that in my to-do list for that trip to New York :D

I just have to tell you, ARGH feeds on awesomeness, so if you can, drop him some awesome here, and I promise to give some awesome back :D

Right now, because of my really busy schedule, I'm cutting back on receiving awards. So until further notice, me and ARGH would not be accepting awards. But thank you for thinking of us, we really appreciate it!
