Quiz: What Kind of Bookworm Are You?

I have another quiz again for you!  This time, it's sort of a personality that I got from Shanna Miles on ProProfs.com - I would have loved to make a quiz of my own but what with lack of time, I had to make do with this.  But it's really fun and it's nice to get to know what kind of book lover we are.

After taking this quiz, I would love if you could take the time to comment on what you got, it would be fun to compare results!

  1. Great Quiz! I'm a dreamer, which is so true :)

  2. Says I'm the Realist, which couldn't be further from the truth, because I dislike nonfiction. And it told me Harry Potter isn't "best friend material," when it most definitely is.

Hello? Potter addict right here. :[

  3. I'm a dreamer, which is totally right. :)

  4. I'm a dreamer which is mostly true, :D

  5. It looks like most are 'dreamers.'

Alissa: That is so strange, and I was supposed to be a dramatist, but the suggested books to me were books I didn't like. So there.

  6. Holy oh my not accurate for me!

My Result: Mostly A's - The Realist
on quiz: What Kind of Bookworm am I?
The Realist doesn't like sappy romances and wouldn't be caught dead in Middle Earth. He or she likes to be in the know and doesn't have time for books that don't add to the sum of knowledge. If The Realist had a choice between a Star Trek convention and a tooth canal, he/she would have to think about it. Let's just say Harry Potter isn't best friend material.

So what books are best for a Realist? Non-Fiction and Historical Fiction are best bets. These include fact books like the Guiness Book of Records, Biographies and Auto-biographies, what some people call Realistic Fiction (stories based on real life events in modern times) and other books on an endless number of topics, but based firmly in reality.

Here are a few to get you started:
American Shaolin: Flying Kicks, Buddhist Monks, and the Legend of Iron Crotch by Matthew Polly
    Flight by Sherman Alexie
Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson
    Copper Sun by Sharon Draper
Black Like Me by John Howard Griffin
Ten Cents a Dance by Christine Fletcher
    Roots by Alex Haley
    Queen by Alex Haley

Bonus: Autobiography of Malcom X: As Told to Alex Haley by Malcolm X - One of the most widely read autobiographies around, this book gives insight to a man and a time that is part of this Nation's fabric. It doesn't hurt that it includes musings on fatherhood, freedom, fast money and fast times.

I just have to tell you, ARGH feeds on awesomeness, so if you can, drop him some awesome here, and I promise to give some awesome back :D

Right now, because of my really busy schedule, I'm cutting back on receiving awards. So until further notice, me and ARGH would not be accepting awards. But thank you for thinking of us, we really appreciate it!
